ABOUT
Kourtney Mio began Kourtney Anne Studios in 2019 with a passion for timeless and inspired spaces. Her work is rooted in a deep appreciation for the history of design - architecture, craftsmanship, and enduring details. She has the desire to reinterpret that legacy through a modern and thoughtful lens, constantly seeking the balance between old and new, classic and current.
Kourtney's interest in the arts began as a child. Skills in pencil drawing and acrylic painting proved her eye for detail and depth which have served her through the interiors practice. She went on to obtain degrees in both Interior Design and Business Administration from Baker College. She simultaneously began her professional career in 2011, working as a product merchandiser for industry leader, Kravet, and later a Senior Designer for Birmingham based design firm, Petrella Interiors.

With 15 years in the design industry, Kourtney has cultivated thoughtful relationships with likeminded trades that she brings to her firm, allowing her to seamlessly execute remodels, new construction, and bespoke interiors.
